Criminal Investigations

The Wolfforth Police Department Criminal Investigations Division, commonly referred to as CID, consists of two officers, a lieutenant and a detective. CID offers 30 years of combined experience to the citizens of Wolfforth. CID investigates reported crimes and missing persons reports that occur within the City of Wolfforth. CID collects and examines evidence at crime scenes for serious offenses or when requested by a patrol officer. When evidence is collected, the custody of the evidence is maintained by CID. CID acts as a liaison between the Wolfforth Police Department and other agencies that have a joint interest in our criminal cases.

Code Enforcement


Part of keeping our city safe and comfortable to live in is the enforcement of local ordinances and state laws concerning living conditions and general cleanliness. While everyone's idea of that can differ, our code enforcement officer utilizes these laws to ensure fair and equal enforcement throughout the city.

Our patrol division is available 24 hours a day. Our officers perform routine patrol and respond to calls for service. We strive to remain vigilant in deterring criminal activity and apprehending those who commit offenses within our city.

Emergency Management

The Office of Emergency Management is overseen by the Emergency Management Coordinator. Our mission is to prepare for and reduce the impact of disasters to our community. We work closely with our private, local, county and state partners. Our office maintains relationships between these jurisdictions and ensures that we can work together effectively to carry out our mission. Our office is responsible for updating emergency operations plans, training, grant research, resource typing and inventory, maintaining databases, mass notification and outdoor warning systems.
